I purchased this from Costco in late May 2020 and assembled this on weekends though August.
This kit has MANY more pieces than I was expecting. It’s a good thing I have the skills of a handyman and own many tools including a cordless drill and drill driver. 🧰
I watched the assembly video and followed the printed instructions too.
I also applied silicone generously in the crevices of the top wood beams, especially the middle beam. It’s a lot easier to do this waterproofing before the louvers are installed.
Once installation was complete I added a $60.00 roller shade accessory from a popular home improvement chain, the one with the orange logo. This oatmeal colored shade is 96″ wide and rolls down to 72″. 
The end result is a beautiful sturdy pergola that should last for many years.
