– Another backyard story from one of our happy customers we’d like to share.
I couldn’t be happier with my Gazebo from Yardistry. The gazebo has given my family another room to the house. It is so nice to sit in the shade and enjoy a coffee in the morning. It is great for outdoor entertaining, even when the weather does not corporate.
I was pleasantly surprised to find a metal web sandwiched between the long crossbeams. Very good design, lots of strength and out of sight. I was building the gazebo on a brick patio; I was concerned the metal brackets (which contact the ground) would locally sink the brick they were sitting on, so I bought some 12″ x 12″ pavers to position under the legs. This would spread the load of the gazebo over many bricks and reduce any chance of localized sinking. I added concrete under the pavers to ensure the Gazebo was completely level before I started the build.
I will be removing the snow as it builds up, but I can be away from home for a weekend without rushing back to remove snow. It took me about 40 hours to construct. The quality control on all the parts of the gazebo really surprised me; everything was perfect.
Enough of the build…
The finished result is beyond my expectations. The beautiful gazebo, has transformed my very bland patio into an entertaining area. This has added another room to my house, which not only looks great, provides a dry and shady sitting area. Before the gazebo, if it rained for 10 mins in all the seating would be wet and avoided. Now with the gazebo, a little rain or baking hot sun does not ruin your enjoyment of being outside.
